The Department of Chemical Engineering (CHEG) is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow. The position will focus on hybrid mechanistic-empirical modeling and optimization of bioprocesses. The goal is to advance parameter estimation and optimization capabilities for process development and improved process understanding. The project is expected to develop open-source tools for integrated modeling and optimization of data-driven and mechanistic models. Successful candidates will interact with multiple faculty within the department as well as industrial project sponsors.
