The National Institute for Innovation in Manufacturing Biopharmaceuticals (NIIMBL) is excited to announce it has launched a new website and member Community Portal. Visitors can access the website and Community Portal at http://www.niimbl.org.
The newly-designed niimbl.org features numerous content enhancements including pages dedicated to NIIMBL’s technology scope, workforce development initiatives, roadmapping program, news, and events. It also provides information on NIIMBL membership and how organizations can get involved with the Institute.
Individuals at member organizations have access to additional content and features through the upgraded Community Portal. This community-driven tool serves as a virtual hub for NIIMBL members to collaborate, network, and share ideas around NIIMBL activities. The Community Portal also introduces new social features through Groups. Groups are private, collaborative spaces for individuals engaged in various NIIMBL initiatives to post content and share ideas.
The Community Portal incorporates new content and features designed to facilitate real-time discussion and interactions amongst the NIIMBL community, including:
- Dedicated space for NIIMBL committee business, including meeting materials, through the enhanced committee pages. Non-committee members are able to see meeting agendas and schedules, and outputs from committee activities and projects.
- List of funded projects, including abstracts and participants, and updates on the progress of the projects.
- Presentations, reports, and summaries from NIIMBL members-only technology and workforce workshops.
The Community Portal also features targeted areas to support proposers in the development of Project Call 2.1 proposals. Templates and FAQs are available, and a Group has been created to allow proposers to share their proposal quad charts to find partners. Check back in the coming days to see additional resources added to support the Project Call 2.1 process.
