Workforce Strategy and Leadership

NIIMBL recognizes that the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry has an increasing demand for talent at all post-secondary levels to grow, expand, and meet the challenges introduced by emerging technologies and new therapeutic areas.

Through a variety of mechanisms, NIIMBL leverages the input of its member organizations, the expertise of its leadership, and its collaborations with industry, academic, and federal partners to inform, shape, and guide overall workforce strategy.

Workforce Activities Committee

The NIIMBL Workforce Activities Committee (WAC), led by the NIIMBL Workforce Director and four appointed co-chairs, oversees NIIMBL’s workforce development initiatives. Nearly every NIIMBL member organization is represented on the WAC, offering members a unique opportunity to get engaged with a network of education, training, and workforce development professionals.

Working Groups

NIIMBL periodically convenes working groups on a variety of targeted topics related to workforce strategy. Join the Workforce mailing list to stay informed of upcoming opportunities.
