NIIMBL is excited to announce the host locations for the 2027 NIIMBL eXperience. These organizations will host a unique program next summer, designed to introduce first- and second-year college students to biopharmaceutical careers.
The 2027 NIIMBL eXperience hosts are:
- Puerto Rico Science, Technology, and Research Trust
- Santa Clara University
- University at Buffalo
- Worcester Polytechnic Institute
NIIMBL selected hosts from a competitive Request for Applications issued in May. In total, the Institute awarded $400k to support the four programs.
Each NIIMBL eXperience program builds biopharma industry career awareness through facility tours, hands-on activities, and networking with industry professionals. Students discover career possibilities and build valuable professional connections as they begin their career journeys. The program has reached 310 students from 169 academic institutions since 2019.
Student applications for all four programs will open on October 8, 2026. To apply, a student must be a U.S. citizen, living in the U.S., and activity enrolled in a degree program with fewer than 60 credits.
