Nondestructive Analytics for Biologics and Continuous Biomanufacturing Lecture

Last month, Dr. Bruce Yu, Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Director of the Bio- and Nano-Technology Center at the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy, gave a lecture on water proton NMR as a nondestructive, contract-free method of analyzing the quality of biologic products as part of the FDA CERSI lecture series. You can access a recording of the lecture at https://www.fda.gov/ScienceResearch/SpecialTopics/RegulatoryScience/ucm631405.htm.

Dr. Yu and the University of Maryland Baltimore are currently collaborating with ChromaTan Corporation on a NIIMBL project called Flow Water Proton NMR as a Contact-free, Real-time, In-line PAT for Continuous Biomanufacturing. Learn more about the project at https://niimbl.force.com/s/qsp10-009. NIIMBL members may log into the Community Portal to view the team’s Member Forum presentation from last fall. The presentation can be found on the project page (https://niimbl.force.com/s/qsp10-009).
