Member Committee and Tier Structure Town Hall Part 2: Next Steps
In September, we held a series of Town Halls to discuss notional changes to our Committee and Member Tier structures we are contemplating. Others may have learned more in a committee meeting. To those who were able to participate and offer feedback to date, we are grateful.
We are bringing the community together again on Tuesday, December 16th from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm (Eastern) to share where we are in the process in updating the Technical Activities Committee (TAC) and Workforce Activities Committee (WAC), creating Forums for Learning, Innovation, and Collaborations (FLICs), and updating Bylaws.
To participate, please complete the registration form and hold the time on your calendar. We will send access details closer to the Town Hall.
This time we are planning a single session for industry and nonprofits/academics where we will share thinking about the specific sections of the Bylaws that might be updated to reflect improvements to the TAC, WAC, and increase opportunities for engagement. The same content will also be presented at the Governing Committee (GC), TAC, and WAC committee meetings occurring in December. Because the content will be duplicative, there is no need for committee members to attend both the Town Hall and the committee meeting unless you prefer to hear the same information twice.
