NIIMBL is excited to launch a Request for Applications (RFA) for 2027 NIIMBL eXperience regional lead organizations. This opportunity invites applications from NIIMBL academic and nonprofit members to design and host a weeklong summer program that introduces first- and second-year college students to the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Selected regional leads will shape an engaging experience featuring hands-on training, mentoring, tours, and industry engagement. This is a unique chance to inspire emerging talent, showcase your capabilities, and help build the future biopharmaceutical workforce.
The application deadline is July 20, 2026 (5 pm ET).
NIIMBL has launched a new Submission Hub. Applicants are required to register before submitting an application; to do so, please contact [email protected] to request user access. We recommend registering several days or weeks in advance of the submission deadline to avoid delays.
The NIIMBL eXperience is an exclusive in-person, all expenses paid immersion program that gives students unparelleled access to the biopharmaceutical industry. Over the course of a week, participants dive into hands-on activities, explore real manufacturing environments, and connect directly with industry professionals who are shaping the future of biopharma.
Program goals include:
