NEWARK, Del., April 30, 2026 – NIIMBL is pleased to announce that applications are now open for 2027 NIIMBL eXperience regional lead organizations. Applications are due on July 20, 2026, at 5 pm ET.
This opportunity invites academic and nonprofit NIIMBL members to design and host a weeklong summer program that introduces first‑ and second‑year college students to careers in biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Selected regional leads will create immersive experiences featuring hands‑on training, mentorship, facility tours, and industry engagement. The program offers a unique opportunity to strengthen the future biopharmaceutical workforce and inspire emerging talent.

About the NIIMBL eXperience
The NIIMBL eXperience is an all-expenses-paid, immersive summer program that gives first‑ and second‑year college students a meaningful introduction to the biopharmaceutical manufacturing industry. Over one week, students participate in hands‑on activities, tour real manufacturing facilities, and meet professionals working across the biopharma ecosystem. The program expands talent pipelines and builds early connections between students and biopharma companies.
